Built for residential societies
Decisions that belong
to your community.
Run transparent polls — AGMs, maintenance votes, by-law changes — from any device, without paperwork or confusion.
Residents: use the email your society admin registered for your flat.
Everything your society needs
Verified residents
Each vote is tied to a claimed flat — one flat, one vote, always verified.
Secure & private
Secret ballots by default with a full server-side audit trail your committee can trust.
Transparent results
Results tallied instantly — AGMs, resolutions, maintenance votes, all in one place.
Multi-question polls
Bundle several questions into one poll — each with its own type, options, and independent pass/fail outcome. No need to run separate polls.
Weighted & quorum voting
Set quorum thresholds and weight votes by ownership share. Results respect your society's actual rules, not just a simple headcount.
Multi-flat ownership
Owners with multiple flats can vote separately for each unit. A flat-switcher appears automatically — every flat's voice is counted.
How it works
Register your society
Takes two minutes. Import your owner roster from a CSV file.
Residents join instantly
Each owner gets an invite email and claims their flat with a one-time link.
Run any kind of vote
Yes/No, multi-choice, resolutions, ranked-choice — with quorum and weighted voting built in.
Security & privacy
Your data is safe with us
End-to-end secure
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Votes are stored server-side — the client never writes directly.
Privacy first
We never sell your data. Usage analytics are fully anonymised and aggregated — no personal details are ever included.
Full audit trail
Every vote, every admin action, every status change is logged to an append-only audit log.
No spam, ever
We only email you for votes, claim status updates, and critical notifications — never marketing.
Shared administration
Invite co-admins by email to share the workload. Remove an admin at any time — if they own a flat, their voting rights are preserved automatically.
FAQ
Common questions
Who can use Plinth?
Plinth is built for residential housing societies — cooperative housing societies, apartment complexes, and gated communities. Any registered society in India can sign up for free.
Is my vote really secret?
Yes. Votes are secret by default. Your selection is stored server-side and is not visible to other members, admins, or anyone outside the system. Admins can only see aggregate results, not individual choices. Societies can optionally enable open voting on a per-poll basis.
How do I join my society on Plinth?
Your society admin imports the owner roster and sends you an invite email. Click the link in that email, sign in with your registered email address, and claim your flat. The whole process takes under two minutes.
What if my email is not recognised when I try to sign in?
Your email must match the one your society admin uploaded for your flat. If it doesn't match, contact your admin to correct the roster entry. You can also use your registered phone number if your admin added it.
Can I change my vote after submitting?
No. Once a vote is cast it is final. A confirmation step is shown before you submit so you can review your choice. This mirrors the rules of a physical ballot.
What types of polls can my society run?
Plinth supports Yes / No polls, single-choice, multiple-choice, resolution votes (pass/fail with quorum), and ranked-choice elections. Each poll type supports optional weighted voting and quorum thresholds.
Can I ask more than one question in a single poll?
Yes. Multi-question polls let you bundle several questions into one — for example, a budget approval (Yes/No) and a committee election (ranked-choice) can run together. Each question has its own type, options, and independent pass/fail outcome. Residents answer all questions in one session and cast a single vote.
What if a resident owns more than one flat?
Multi-flat owners vote separately for each flat they own. When you open a poll, a flat-switcher appears so you can choose which flat you are voting as. Each flat gets its own independent vote — your society's quorum and weighted-voting rules apply per flat as usual.
How are results calculated?
All vote tallying happens on the server — the client never counts votes. Results respect the poll's quorum threshold and weighting rules. For ranked-choice polls, instant-runoff is used. Results are published only after the poll closes (or immediately if the admin enables live results).
What happens to my uploaded documents?
Credential documents (e.g. ownership proof) are stored in a private, encrypted bucket. They are only accessible via short-lived signed URLs and are automatically purged 30 days after the poll closes (configurable per society). We never make them public.
Is Plinth free?
Plinth is currently free for all societies during our early-access period. We will introduce pricing plans in the future — registered societies will receive advance notice well before any charges apply.
How do I contact support?
