How the notice board works in Plinth

Plinth's notice board is the official channel for society announcements not a WhatsApp group. Admins and committee publish categorized notices with optional audience targeting, scheduling, attachments, and acknowledgement tracking. Delivery is in-app plus push notifications on the Plinth resident app (with in-app reminder sweeps for pending acks). Email, SMS, and WhatsApp broadcasts are deliberately out of scope so every resident sees the same audited record inside Plinth.

For admins & committee

  1. Create title, Markdown body, category, pin/urgent/flash flags, optional document vault link.
  2. Target all members, or filter by role, tower/block, or specific flats.
  3. Govern optional admin approval before publish; archive when done.
  4. Schedule set publish_at for AGM eve or maintenance windows.
  5. Publish fans out in-app notifications to eligible members only.
  6. Track live eligible/read/ack counts plus CSV roster export per notice.

Shortcuts: spawn a notice draft from a Meeting or Election card, then edit and publish.

Routes: /admin/notices (admin) · /committee/notices (committee with publish permission).

For residents

Notices appear at /notices. Flash notices block the app until read or acknowledged. Attachments open via short-lived signed URLs. Linked vault documents open from the notice.
